1. Change your Facebook age or birthday

If Facebook Dating does not work or shows up because you are under 18, I have a solution for you!

You can simply change your age in the app and then Facebook Date will show up.

• Open the Facebook app and tap the three lines at the top right.
• Scroll down to where it says Setting & Privacy and tap it > tap Setting.
• Scroll all the way down and tap Profile Information.
• Tap on Edit next to the Basic info.
• Finally, tap Birth year and choose 2003 or before that year and confirm.

2. Update the app

If you are using an old version of Facebook, then there will be probably some glitches in the app, and Facebook Dating may not show up. You can simply update the app from Google Play if you have an Android device or from App Store if you have an iPhone.

• In the App Store or Google Play search for Facebook in the search bar.
• Then simply tap Update and wait a few seconds for the update to be finished.
• Instead of “Update”, you may see “Open”, in that case, the app is already updated.

3. Enable Location Permission

4. Clear Facebook Cache

• Head over to Settings.
• Scroll down and find Apps then tap it.
• Find Facebook and tap it.

5. Make sure your internet connection is stable

1. If the hashtag #facebookdown is trending on Twitter, then Facebook is likely down.
2. You can also check “metastatus.com/graph-api” website to check if there have been any issues with Facebook in the last 24 hours.

When the issue is from Facebook itself, actually there is not much you can do, and you should wait for a few hours or even a day for the issue to go away.

7. Delete Facebook app and install it again
